About Alex Bostic:
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Alex Bostic is an illustrator with more than 40 years experience. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration from Pratt Institute in 1979. He also holds a Master of Arts in illustration from Syracuse University.
Bostic is celebrated for his painting 鈥淓dmonia Lewis鈥 featured on a new USPS stamp. The Edmonia Lewis Commemorative Forever stamp 鈥 the 45th stamp in the USPS鈥檚 Black Heritage Series 鈥 was released January 26, 2022.
